Meet Tyler Moseley

Tyler Moseley is a dedicated tuba performer and educator with a passion for helping students grow both musically and personally. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Texas Christian University and a Master’s degree in Tuba Performance from Oklahoma State University. During his collegiate career, Tyler performed in TCU’s wind symphony as well as both TCU’s and OSU’s symphony orchestras.

Marching with both the Crossmen (2018) and Cavaliers (2019/2022), Tyler has world-class drum corps experience. Since aging out, he has also done numerous brass band and freelance gigs. Tyler has also worked with some of the strongest band programs in the state of Texas, including Hebron, Coppell, and Southlake Carroll. These experiences have shaped his approach to discipline, consistency, and the excellence he emphasizes in his teaching.

Tyler is committed to creating a positive and engaging learning environment tailored to each student’s goals. Whether students are preparing for auditions, developing fundamentals, or just beginning their musical journey, he focuses on building strong technique, musicality, and confidence. His goal is not only to help students become better tuba players, but also to inspire a lifelong love of music.
